• ½ c. breadcrumbs
• ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
• ½ tsp. chili powder
• ½ tsp. dried thyme
• 1 small onion
• 1 carrot, peeled
• 1 clove garlic
• 1 lb. ground turkey
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 egg
• Glaze: Ketchup

1. Preheat oven to 350°.
2. Chop onion, carrot and garlic very small. Cook vegetables in a little oil until soft. Then put in a mixing bowl and combine with everything except the egg and meat. Make sure mixture is cool and then mix in the egg and meat, but don’t squeeze the meat.
3. Make the mixture into a loaf onto an oiled pan. Bake for a total of 35-45 minutes. Brush ketchup onto the meatloaf after it has been cooking for about 15 minutes.

Did you know?

You can make your meatloaf into different shapes like a star or letters of the alphabet. Try using a mold that you might bake a cake in or put the mixture into muffin tins and everyone can have their own personal meatloaf muffin. Cooking time will be less if you make it into muffins (20-25 minutes).
