Sunday Suppers is a five-month program that meets weekly

We offer a Fall (September – January) and Spring (February – June) program, and ask that families meet the following requirements:

  • Can attend with a child 18 years or younger
  • Receive and/or are eligible for SNAP or other benefits
  • Can commit to regular attendance
  • Are willing to try new things
  • Are ready to set goals and make plans to achieve them

Sunday Suppers is more than just a weekly meal……

  • It’s a dining experience – Families enjoy delicious homemade suppers in a restaurant-like setting, served family style at your table.
  • A meal to cook at home – You will get a to-go bag with recipes and all of the ingredients needed to make a meal to share with your family.
  • Cooking classes from our very own chef – Learn how to make easy recipes that are healthy and nutritious, and become more confident in your kitchen.
  • Exercise and nutrition workshops – Learn about nutrition and how simple exercises can make you healthier.
  • Get kitchen equipment – Let us help you obtain the necessary kitchen tools you need to be successful in your own home.
  • Grow your green thumb – You and your children choose what vegetables and herbs to plant, take care of the garden, and harvest the crops incorporated into our recipes.
  • Give back – At least 2 hours monthly, your family will help prepare or set-up for a meal, or help recruit more families.
  • Celebrate – Once you complete the program, your family will receive a certificate of completion, a cookbook, and a gift.
  • Keep it going – After graduation, you become part of an extensive alumni network who meet monthly for dinners with continued community support.
  • Become a leader – Apply for a job as a Peer Leader and share your expertise with new groups of families.
